INTERN

Ashley (she/her) is currently working towards her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). She completed her Bachelor’s in Psychology with SNHU as well. She served six years in the Army National Guard and is an active-duty military spouse as well. She is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and would love to work with clients who are exploring their sexuality. Ashley takes a very holistic and client-centered approach, integrating relational cultural theory, mindfulness, somatic experience, and solution-focused behavioral therapy.

Ashley believes in working to see each client’s struggles and concerns through the client’s eyes, gaining insight into the client’s internal and external world to best support them on their mental health journey. Ashley maintains curiosity and genuine interest in each person’s life experiences and how the stories that we tell ourselves and relationships with others shape us. Through collaboration, empowerment, and being highly present with the client, Ashley believes that what works best for each individual can be discovered. Fostering a safe, inviting, and comfortable space for each client is of utmost importance to Ashley too. Ashley is interested in working with couples and adults on adjustment/stress management, anxiety, depression, and/or trauma.

In her downtime, Ashley enjoys anything fitness or outdoor related. Nature and exercise play a huge role within mental health and anytime Ashley can combine both it is a win. Ashley loves to read, spend time with her wife, friends, and family. She can’t wait for the chance to work with you!
