Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couples, and/or family counseling services

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Participate in regular supervision and consultation (Residents)

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members

  • Attend team meetings and community-building events

  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture

  • Support workshops, psychoeducational groups, and community outreach initiatives

  • Uphold ethical and professional counseling standards

  • Engage in ongoing learning around cultural humility, anti-oppressive practice, and trauma-informed care

Qualifications

Resident in Counseling

  • Master's degree in Counseling or related field

  • Active Virginia Resident in Counseling status (or eligible)

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

  • Active Virginia LPC license in good standing
