Hi, I’m Nicole, co-founder and Chief Visionary Officer at Realign Your Mind Counseling Services. Before helping to create Realign, my clinical journey began in the school setting providing day treatment to at-risk youth. Then, I ventured into the hospital setting, where I worked closely with adults in both Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs. That experience grounded me in crisis care, emotional regulation, and the deep complexities of trauma, addiction, and family systems.

Over time, I realized that while traditional therapy is incredibly valuable, something was missing. I began to explore more holistic and spiritually-integrated approaches to healing. My own search for meaning led me to the teachings of Viktor Frankl and logotherapy—a modality that aligns deeply with my belief that we all crave purpose, even amidst suffering. That understanding became the foundation for the way I practice today.

I specialize in helping clients reconnect with their inner wisdom and sense of purpose through a blend of evidence-based and intuitive practices. I’m trained in clinical hypnotherapy, sound healing, Reiki, and Somatic Experiencing and I work often with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction. Whether we're doing deep subconscious work, clearing energetic blocks, or finding breath and stillness in a sound session, I hold space with compassion, authenticity, and a belief in each person’s ability to heal.

I’m especially passionate about supporting clients who feel disconnected from themselves or their spiritual path, and I love guiding others as they reclaim their power, reframe their story, and realign with what truly matters.

 Get to know Nicole

  • I went to Virginia Tech for my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Then, I attended VCU for my Master’s in Education with a focus in School Counseling.

  • There are so many good ones! But the first two that come to me are:

“If you want something different, do something different.” - Steve Maraboli

“Ego says, ‘Once everything falls into place, I’ll find peace.’ Spirit says, ‘Find your peace, and then everything will fall into place.’” - Marianne Williamson

  • I truly enjoy a collaborative approach to therapy. YOU are in control of your own healing and I am honored to be part of it. I will help guide and support, along with give “homework/practice” outside of session! This is only for your benefit.

  • Good question! I think ultimately I would have to say mountains. I love a good Fall day in the mountains, especially with a fire.
